The French Air and Space Force Academy campus

Located in Salon-de-Provence, near the Alpilles, Aix-en-Provence, and Marseille, the French Air and Space Force Academy is situated on Air Force Base 701.

Covering an area of 445 hectares, with 183 buildings spread across the base, it serves as a key support structure for the French Air and Space Force Academy, providing all the personnel and infrastructure necessary for its proper operation.

Numerous classrooms and lecture halls, computer rooms, laboratories, as well as the "Centre de Recherche de l'École de l'Air", are dedicated to education.

The school houses a media library with an exceptional collection of over 55,000 documents, available for consultation by students and all personnel of the Defense Base.

A dining hall is specifically dedicated to catering for officer cadets, located near the dormitories and classrooms.

On the first floor, it includes a lounge where students can relax together.

The accommodations consist of single or double rooms, furnished and equipped with sanitary facilities. Students also have access to communal rooms where they can gather.

A cultural department coordinates all the extracurricular activities available to officer cadets.

They can develop their talents in drawing, painting, music, and photography.

There is also a cinema/theater/reading club where students can discuss specific works.

A public speaking club allows them to practice the art of expression and persuasion. The best among them can compete in an annual inter-armies contest.

Finally, the Mosaic 13 association enables international students to participate in outings and spend time with the families of its members, allowing them to immerse themselves in French culture. Themed evenings are organized annually (Africa, United States, Germany, etc...).

The French Air and Space Force Academy offers a wide range of sports activities thanks to its numerous facilities : a recently renovated stadium, swimming pool, gymnasium, various outdoor fields, and a climbing wall.

Sports and military training activities can also take place off-site, in locations such as Mont Ventoux, Étang de Berre, Camp des Garrigues, and Dentelles de Montmirail.
