1. Definitions
"French Air and Space Force Academy" : means the public scientific, cultural and professional institution under the supervision of the Minister of Defense, established as a major institution within the meaning of Article L. 717-1 of the Education Code, whose head office is located at Chemin de Saint Jean, 13661 SALON AIR, France, and the data controller.
"Recipient" : means the natural or legal person, public authority, department or any other body that receives communication of personal data, whether or not a third party.
"Personal data" : any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as "data subject"); an “identifiable natural person” is deemed to be a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more specific elements specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity.
“Data controller” : means the entity École de l’air et de l’espace that decides on the purposes of the processing and the means allocated.
“GDPR” : means EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
“Processor” : means the entities that process personal data on behalf of the data controller.
“Processing” : means one or more automated operations applied to the collection of data or a set of personal data allowing the collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or any other form of making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
“Transfer” : means transfers to a third country of personal data which are or are intended to be processed.
2. Purpose
This policy describes how the French Air and Space Force Academy processes users’ personal data when they browse https://english-version.ecole-air-espace.fr/ hereinafter referred to as the “site”.
The French Air and Space Force Academy, as the data controller, attaches great importance to protecting the personal data of users of the site, such as visitors, future students, staff, job applicants, service providers, and is committed to implementing technical and operational measures to process the data collected in compliance with the protection of privacy.
We are also committed to maintaining relationships based on the trust of our partners, employees, students and users.

3. Modification
This policy may be modified, supplemented and/or updated by the French Air and Space Force Academy in order to comply with any legal, regulatory, jurisprudential and technical developments. 4. Processing of personal data
The French Air and Space Force Academy only processes the data it needs, in accordance with data protection regulations, based on a legal basis for processing. The different purposes of this processing are described in the paragraphs below.

The data is kept for the duration of the recruitment procedure until the hiring decision (maximum 3 months from receipt of your application). The personal data of the successful candidate is kept for the entire duration of his employment contract. |
5. Recipients of data
The internal services of the French Air and Space Force Academy are recipients of the data that you send us.
Subcontractors may also access your personal data :
- Complianz : management of cookies and your consent to their storage on your devices;
- Google Analytics : establishment of audience measurement statistics;
- Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, X: sharing of content on social networks.
The data collected may be processed outside the European Union due to the collection of your personal data by Google Analytics, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X. Due to the various existing legislations on the subject of data protection, these transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses (such as those published by the European Commission) in order to guarantee the security of the processing.
6. Data security
We take all necessary physical, technical, organizational and operational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, reproduction or unauthorized access. We require our partners and subcontractors to implement the same measures.
In this respect, the French Air and Space Force Academy takes all necessary precautions, with regard to the nature of the data and the risks presented by the processing, in order to preserve the security of the data and, in particular, by applying physical protection measures for the premises, authentication procedures with personal and secure access via confidential identifiers and passwords, connection logging, encryption of certain data, etc.
The data collected may be processed outside the European Union due to the collection of your personal data by Google Analytics, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and X. Due to the various existing legislation on the subject of data protection, these transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses (such as those published by the European Commission) in order to guarantee the security of the processing.
7. Your rights
The user can access the data concerning him, rectify it, request its deletion or exercise his right to limit the processing of your data. The user can also object to the processing of his personal data or withdraw his consent at any time.
The user can exercise his rights by email to referent-dpo@ecole-air.fr.
The DPO of the French Air and Space Force Academy will respond to the request within 30 days of receipt of the complete request.
For any additional information on the protection of personal data, the user can also consult the Website of the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties www.cnil.fr.
If the user considers, after having contacted the French Air and Space Force Academy, that his “Information Technology and Civil Liberties” rights have not been respected, the user can submit a complaint to the CNIL.
